Influenced by textures and natural materials, this once giant display cabinet by Midcentury great McIntosh, has been reimagined and reworked into a more useful and gorgeous sideboard.
Decoupaged with a basket-weave effect paper, this new cabinet has copious amounts of storage and can be utilised for a variety of purposes. Perfect for a hallway, sitting room, dining area, entry way or bedroom. It has the lines of a midcentury piece but the vibe of a more natural and Boho lifestyle.
Painted in Fusion Mineral paint's beautiful Bayberry green and topcoat with multiple coats of Polyvine decorator's varnish in Satin. The inside back panel has also been decoupaged as well as the interiors of the drawers. The new copper hairpin legs bring this piece of vintage furniture up to date.

As it is a refinished vintage piece furniture, that's already lived one or two different lifetimes, there will always be indications of its history and this should be taken into consideration. But then again, those parts just add to the charm.
