A superb set of five vintage, ‘Goldsmith’ dining chairs, designed and made by Ercol in the 1960s. This quintet, made of elm and beech, has been lovingly updated to reflect a more modern bespoke interior. These are extremely robust and very well made...they've already lived one lifetime and are ready for another!
The original Ercol stickers are no longer affixed to the back of three of the chairs (although you can see where they were), however, there is a remnant on one and you can read Made in England which dates the chairs to 1960s. As with any vintage item, handpainted or not, they will have some very minor signs of use. The chairs are both structurally sound and all spindles in tact. They will easily last another 50-60 years.
These have been painted in the colour graphite, antique gold and protected with clear wax for a long-lasting finish. Each chair pattern plays off the centre chair symmetrically.

Local pick-up or courier can be arranged. Nationwide delivery is available through a courier. Please contact me in advance if you'd like a more specific delivery fee. Anticipated carriage costs are likely to be in the region of £85 and is for a one-man delivery, ground floor location. Please discuss requirements if different than those.
